Ingredients
- 2 pounds of chicken breasts
- 2/3 cup BBQ sauce (naturally sweetened or low sugar if possible)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- dash salt and pepper
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6 hours.
- Shred with a fork. Keeps well for leftovers. Serve with sprouted bread, stuffed in a pepper or on top of a salad.
