Ingredients:
- 1 head of cabbage (chopped)
- 4 carrots (shredded)
- 1 lb of ground turkey or beef
- 1/2 cup coconut aminos or low sodium soy sauce
Directions:
- Brown turkey or beef in a pan on medium heat.
- Once browned, reduce heat and add shredded carrots and cabbage and continue to cook for until veggies are tender.
- Add coconut aminos, stir and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and divide into 2-3 portions and enjoy!
Alternatives: If pressed for time you can buy a bag of pre-shredded coleslaw mix to substitute for the head of cabbage and 4 carrots. You can also omit the ground meat in this recipe and use it as a side dish of vegetables.
