“After almost a 2 year break from fitness a friend convinced me to go see Kaylie. “She’s different, you’ll feel comfortable, I promise”. I remember the hardest part was walking in...after one session my friend was right. I had made the right choice. 2 and a half years later I have thought back several times on my experience joining HOP. With Kaylie’s coaching not only in the gym, but her interest in every client she sees enter HOP as an individual is the reason I have had tremendous success under her guidance. The HOP atmosphere has a way of uplifting you. Group classes I attend include seniors to teens at a range of levels. No matter who shows up, you always leave each class feeling energized with a sense of pride and belonging. Kaylie’s attentiveness to each person who walks in is really an experience I’ve truly never felt at any other facility. From listening to each goal, concern, and hesitation, she is able to assure you there is no room for anything but a positive, encouraging, safe experience geared to you. My improved mental and physical health are a direct result of HOP and the vibe that keeps me coming back for more! After leaving each fun, but challenging workout, I head out ready to carry on my day with a clearer head-space. For me, physical body composition is really the icing on the cake. As a former “gym rat” who struggled to keep motivation and fight injuries, I have never felt or appeared more healthy and strong." -Renee K.
“If you are looking for a trainer who can adapt and modify your session to maximize results while understanding injuries and limited mobility, HOP Fitness is the place to be. The gym is a clean and a welcoming environment. She genuinely cares about her clients and pushes them to achieve their personal best all the while making it fun. I went to Kaylie to get back in the gym after a long stretch away and from the beginning she pushed me and re-energized my passion for fitness. I was new to functional training and I am proud to be apart of the HOP family. - Karen M.
"I am a 54 year old lady. I started at HOP about 1 year ago. I had not lifted weights for about 2 years prior to that because of a recurring shoulder injury. I was reluctant to go because I had finally got my shoulder about 90% healed and I did not want to re-injure it like I had previously. My daughter convinced me this was the place to try. I'm glad I did. I work to my ability, and always leave my pound of sweat on the floor! I am never worried about injuring myself as Kaylie is always cognizant of my previous shoulder injury, and will modify if necessary. She is always aware of my ability, and will encourage less weight, and adjust my form, if necessary. I appreciate her knowledge and the extra care she takes with each participant. The garage is always clean, and it is nice to be able to open the door and work outside sometimes also. I also appreciate the warm up before and the stretching after, which is also an important part of the class. The class is always positive and encouraging, and that is because of Kaylie's professional and friendly demeanour and the example she sets. I'm getting stronger and my shoulder is almost 100%! I would encourage anyone to come and work out at HOP Fitness. You would always be welcomed!” -Jan B
